Welcome to Covered Custom Quilt Co. We are thrilled to help you turn your treasured memory T-shirts into a custom quilt. Because these projects involve items that are deeply personal and irreplaceable, we want to be completely upfront about how our process works, what we expect from you, and what you can expect from us.

By purchasing a quilt package, sending us your shirts, or interacting with our website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. How Our Service Works

Our business model relies on a partnership with you:

• You purchase a quilt package on our website.

• You mail your T-shirts to our workshop using the specific instructions and shipping address provided in your welcome email.

• We carefully transform your shirts into a custom quilt and ship the finished product back to you.

2. Shipping and Tracking Logistics

Shipping irreplaceable items carries inherent risks, and we want to be very clear about who is responsible for what during the transit process.

Inbound Shipping (Sending Your Shirts to Us)

• You are responsible for the cost, arrangements, and safe delivery of your T-shirts to our workshop.

• We highly recommend using a shipping service that provides tracking so you can monitor your package's journey. We cannot be held responsible for T-shirts that are lost, delayed, or damaged by the shipping carrier before they arrive at our facility.

Outbound Shipping (Sending Your Quilt Back to You)

• When you purchase your quilt package, you pay for return shipping. You can choose your preferred tier at checkout, ranging from standard, affordable shipping to faster, expedited shipping.

• We include tracking on all outbound shipments so you can follow your quilt's journey home.

3. Limitation of Liability and "Worst-Case" Scenarios

We treat your T-shirts with the utmost respect and care while they are in our workshop. However, because we are working with pre-owned, sentimental items, we must establish clear boundaries regarding liability.

Total Liability Waiver

By using our service, you acknowledge and agree that Covered Custom Quilt Co. cannot be held financially or legally responsible for shipping carrier errors, manufacturing mishaps, machine malfunctions, or any accidental loss, theft, or destruction of your T-shirts or finished quilt.

Because your items possess sentimental, irreplaceable value that cannot be quantified by insurance companies, our total financial liability to you for any reason will never exceed the amount you paid us for our services. We do not provide cash payouts for lost or damaged materials.

Our Goodwill Remedies

We are human, and if a worst-case scenario happens, we want to treat you with kindness and fairness. If your shirts are damaged in our workshop, or if Canada Post confirms in writing that your package was lost and never delivered, we will offer one of the following standard remedies to show goodwill:

1. A full refund of the amount you paid for your quilt package, OR

2. A credit for a free custom quilt of equal value in the future, should you wish to gather a new batch of shirts and try again.

4. SMS and Mobile Terms

If you opt into our text messaging service at checkout or through our website, you agree to the following mobile terms:

• Consent: You authorize Covered Custom Quilt Co. to send recurring automated marketing text messages, including up to 20% discounts and special offers, to the mobile number you provided. Consent is not required to buy a quilt.

• Frequency and Costs: Message frequency will vary. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan.

• Opting Out: You can stop receiving text messages at any time by replying "STOP" to any message we send.

• Privacy: Your mobile information is strictly protected and will never be shared or sold to third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Customer Responsibilities and Custom Variations

Because every quilt is handmade from unique, pre-worn clothing, variations in texture, stitching, layout, and final appearance are a natural part of the art form.

• You are responsible for ensuring that all shirts sent to us are clean and washed.

• Once a quilt is completed according to your package specifications, all sales are final due to the highly customized nature of the product.
